cory@cbcfolsom.comTestimony: I was raised in a partially Christian home. I Gave my life to Christ as a kid but didn’t experience the love and forgiveness of Christ until I was in high school. While serving on a mission trip I felt a distinct calling to be a minister. I worked in youth ministry in the church and Young Life before coming to serve at Community Bible Church as the Adults Ministries Pastor in July of 1999.
Favorite book: Let Go – François Fenelon
Hobbies: Reading, shooting guns, hanging out with my family, and Stock Trading with monopoly money.
Favorite foods: Mexican and lobster together or separate
Favorite musician: Louise Armstrong
Favorite TV show or movie: 24 and Star Wars
Guiltiest pleasure: It involves a lot of ice cream.
Significant moment in your life: Jesus Epiphany
Interesting place you have visited: Four corners – only place in the U.S where four states come together in this way. It’s amazing!
Heroes: Dick Winters from Band of Brothers and Count Zinzendorf of the Moravian Brotherhood.
Ambitions: To be more like Christ.

The moment I was saved. Or perhaps, one year at Wildwood (Hume Lake Christian Camp) during the solo time I sat on Abraham’s Alter (a table used for group challenges) and I prayed to God that my life would be a sacrifice up to Him…Now I am trying to live that out each day.Favorite memory:
Probably when I was a child we created an entire merchant-style economy out of beads where we traded and sold toys and trinkets, including Pokémon cards and McDonald’s Furbys. Or getting lost in the woods with the best people and laughing about it the entire time. Playing barefoot soccer at Wildwood, or my first time playing Paintball are certainly up there. I could go on…Ideal vacation:
